Gründung DRK Ortsverein Bad Bentheim

Heiligabend im Jahr 1912. Einige Bentheimer und Gildehauser Männer kamen in der Dorfkneipe zusammen. Aus der Kneipe heraus kamen 20 Mitglieder der an diesem Abend gegründeten „Bentheimer Sanitätskolonne vom Roten Kreuz“.
